The official New Zealand Sevens Squads 2026 are now locked in. Selectors have named both teams for the final two legs of the HSBC SVNS World Series. The action starts in Valladolid, Spain on May 29-31. It will finish in France one week later.
Two Key Changes for the Black Ferns Sevens
The Black Ferns Sevens recently won the historic 50th edition of the Hong Kong Sevens. For the upcoming trip, they have made just two changes to their squad. Jazmin Felix-Hotham and Danii Mafoe make their return to the national setup.
Captain Risaleaana Pouri-Lane will lead the team again. Jorja Miller remains the vice-captain. The dominant New Zealand women are in Pool A. They will face Japan, Brazil, and Argentina in the group stage.
Injury Boost and Captaincy Shift for All Blacks Sevens
The All Blacks Sevens part of the New Zealand Sevens Squads 2026 gets a massive injury boost. Two key players return from long-term layoffs. Ngarohi McGarvey-Black is back after recovering from a shoulder injury. Jayden Keelan also returns after healing an ankle issue.
Veteran forward Dylan Collier will captain the side for this tour. He steps in for Tone Ng Shiu, who is out with a knee injury. The All Blacks Sevens face a tough challenge in Pool C. They will play against Uruguay, Germany, and Argentina.
